Circumferential labral reconstruction refers to replacement of the labrum when the entire labrum is beyond repair. Typically these are cases when primary repair fails and repeat arthroscopy is necessary. 

Few studies have currently been published evaluating circumferential labral reconstruction during hip arthroscopy. More literature is necessary to assess short and long term outcomes.
